PIPE

A pipe is a tubular section or hollow cylinder, usually but not necessarily of circular cross- section, used mainly to convey substances which can flow — liquids and gases (fluids), slurries, powders and masses of small solids.

FITTINGS

A fitting is used in pipe systems to connect the straight pipe or tubing sections, adapt to different sizes or shapes and for other purposes, such as regulating fluid flow. Generally used to describe the conveyance of water, gas, or liquid waste.

VALVES

A valve is a device that regulates or controls the flow of a fluid (gases, liquids) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. Valves are technically fittings, but are usually discussed as a separate category.

JOINTS

A variety of joints are used in an assembly of pipes. Connecting two or more pipes together is called a fitting. Various types of joints could be used in a pipe as per the requirement. Joints are also used for multiple pipe connections.

PUMPS

A pump is a device that moves fluids, or sometimes slurring, by mechanical action. Pumps can be classified into three major groups according to the method they use to move the fluid: direct lift, displacement, gravity pumps.
