Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) in association with Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) organized “International Fire Safety and Security Expo 2018” at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka on April 5. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal inaugurated the event as chief guest. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director General Benazir Ahmed, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Siddiqur Rahman and Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Shafiul Islam were present at the opening ceremony as special guests. ESSAB President Motaher Hoshan Khan and the expo convener engineer Monzur Alam also spoke at the opening ceremony. A total of 60 companies from the safety and security sector of 30 countries participated in the three-day long event.
